Q. Are there special requirements for bringing pets?
A. Yes, all pets are required to be licensed and vaccinated, with a current copy of their records on file with the office. If using a rental unit, pet-only units must be used and the $10.00 pet fee paid. The reason for the charge is so that we can properly disinfect the unit after your stay.
Q. Can our friends use the park without us being there?
A. No, a member must be present at all times. However, you could recommend them as your referral and they could purchase a membership themselves.
Q. What if I come out after the office is closed, how do I check in?
A. If it is for a rental: The guard is on duty until 12:00 midnight and the key will be waiting for you there. If after midnight, please let us know and we can leave the key in the unit with the light on and the door unlocked.
If it is for a campsite: Choose a site, then register in the morning with the office.
Q. Can we come out for the day and not stay overnight?
A. Yes, you can use the resort on a daily basis. Overnight stays are not required.
Q. I do not have a gate key. How do I get in?
A. We have a guard on duty until 12:00 midnight, daily. However, you can purchase a gate card for only $10.00.
Q. What is the latest that I can check in?
A. The office is open until either 5:00PM or 8:00PM depending on the day, but the guard can help you until 12:00 midnight.
Q. How many people can the party room hold and how do I rent it?
A. The party room will hold 50 people and can be reserved up to 60 days in advance. The rental times are 10:00AM – 4:00PM or 5:00PM – 10:00PM. There is no charge for the use but a $50.00 cleaning deposit is required in advance and will be returned upon inspection after use.
Q. How many guests can I have?
A. If you are staying overnight, you may have up to the maximum number of guests that your rental will accommodate for sleeping. If you are using the Party Room or a pavilion, you may have as many guests as the facility will accommodate at its maximum listed capacity. For day use you may have up to 8 people, including family members, unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Additionally, any one specific guest may only visit the resort three times annually. After three visits, your guests may need to purchase their own membership.
Q. Do you take credit cards?
A. Yes, we accept all major credit cards; Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
Q. Can I make my payment (monthly or dues) over the phone?
A. Yes, we accept all major credit cards and offer check by phone. Resort Office: 440-293-7744.
Q. What are the camping rules and regulations?
A. The camping rules and regulations for the resort are very comprehensive. Copies of the Resort Rules are available at the front desk or business office. We also list a summary of the camping rules and procedures in the weekly newsletter that is available at the resort office. The comprehensive rules can be found in the member’s handbook.
Q. When does boating and canoeing season open?
A. These special recreation activities are dependent on weather. While each activity has its own unique requirements, some of the controlling factors are: water and air temperature, staffing, dock availability and equipment readiness. We try to open these activities as early as possible each year.
Q. Can I check in before 5:00PM?
A. In most cases, yes, but our posted check-in time is 5:00PM and we ask that you please be patient with our housekeeping staff so they can perform a thorough cleaning of your unit. Members should not plan on checking in before 5:00PM. Members may inquire at the front desk to see if their cabin is ready before 5:00PM, and “if it is ready” then they may check in. However, we do not want to encourage members to expect to check in before 5:00PM.
Q. Do I have to check out at Noon?
A. Yes, our check out time is Noon; however, you may stay and use the facilities for the balance of the day.
